activpayroll continues to go from strength to strength with the announcement of continued revenue growth of over 27% - up from last year’s £27.9m to £35.7m
Serving over 1200 customers in 154 countries across the globe, activpayroll offers a range of services under the three key pillars of Global payroll, Global Mobility and International Payments which includes recent investment in a Global HR services function to complement and enhance their existing portfolio.
This exceptional financial performance is emphasised by the continued delivery of strong margins with an EBITDA of £10.3m and has been achieved as a result of delivery against a clear business plan and the demonstration of a razor-sharp focus on success and growth.
Jason Allen, activpayroll’s CEO remarked: ‘I am delighted to announce such a strong performance and to see how our determination to serve our customers well and provide them with consistently excellent service has contributed to this success. Our performance is thanks to a consistent desire to accelerate growth and aligning our activities to a bold and ambitious business plan.
‘I’d also like to acknowledge that these results are testament to the hard work and commitment our staff have shown. We’ve been working hard to put in place a high impact leadership team which has built a strong organisation with a clear performance focus, positive culture, and critically, a motivated and involved workforce.
‘I would like to thank our In Country Partners, all our customers and our major channel partners around the world for their ongoing support over the past twelve months.
‘We’ve seen new appointments to the executive committee and have invested in significant key senior positions, and this has been further strengthened by significant investment in the business IT systems and infrastructure. This work has allowed us to make innovative business efficiencies which benefit our shareholders, customers and staff alike.’
Nick Southwell, CFO at activpayroll, said ‘This year’s financial performance sets us up well for the future and we will continue to target long-term sustainable growth by focusing on strong performing sectors and building an ambitious approach to acquiring new customers.’
The company has continued to increase headcount in 2021/22 with a rise of 20%, from 225 to 270, and has continued to invest in their people with the opening of new offices in the key locations of Manchester and Glasgow.
Jason Allen added: ‘As we prepare to celebrate 21 years in business this October, we will use this milestone respect our past and celebrate our future. Our team is ambitious and determined to continue to perform at the highest level whilst recognising the looming global economic challenges all businesses will face in the coming months. However, we’re confident that our robust approach to planning that has seen us develop a multitude of scenarios will allow us to continue to deliver strong results in the future.’
