activpayroll was announced the winner of the Tremendous Training & Development Award 2016.
activpayroll, the leading global payroll and employee mobility solutions expert headquartered in Aberdeen, was announced the winner of the Tremendous Training & Development Award last night at the ninth annual CHeRries Awards ceremony. The CHeRries Awards 2016, which took place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre last night, recognise specialists in the fields of human resources, training and recruitment in the region.
The Tremendous Training & Development accolade 2016, sponsored by Falck Safety Services UK, acknowledges those who have demonstrated a strong commitment to designing and delivering cohesive and innovative training and development programmes and initiatives for their organisation in the last year.
The past year saw activpayroll launch the very first in-house payroll training academy in Scotland in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) after identifying a need to grow and encourage its employees through professional development. The training academy allows employees to receive on the job training regardless of their career or educational background. The training academy is just one in a series of highlights that have been delivered by the activpayroll HR team.
Alison Sellar, CEO of activpayroll, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that we’ve been recognised for this award, it is a great honour and a true testament to the hard work we are putting into improving our teams’ professional ability. Winning this accolade wouldn’t have been possible without our HR team, in-house payroll trainers, the CIPP and, of course, our payroll trainees who all passed their exams with impressive scores! It’s great to see that we are being recognised for our commitment towards strengthening our employees’ professional development.”
