Our EMEA Implementation team has been out and about taking part in the eighth annual Great British Spring Clean, run by national charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Colleagues in our Manchester, Aberdeen, and Glasgow offices all took to the streets to play their part in the national mass-action litter picking challenge.
The Manchester team joined the charity to litter pick around the local area which covers Spinningfields, Castlefield and the Manchester ship canal. Although weather was certainly not their side, they braved the rain and filled four huge bin bags full of rubbish – and removed two knives off the streets of Manchester!
In Glasgow the team were luckier with the weather when they carried out their litter pick around Clydeside. They formed part of a great team of volunteers from other local businesses who were also giving up their time to improve the local environment.
And finally in Aberdeen the team volunteered to help the community run Greyhope Bay Centre with their monthly clean-up. Battling against the typical Aberdeen costal winds they managed to combine their litter pick with a spot of dolphin watching.
Well done to all our colleagues who volunteered and made a real improvement to their local environment!
